Bhakti's felicitation

National Junior Girls Champion Woman
FIDE Master being felicitated at
the Annual General Meeting of the
Goa State Chess Association by
AICF Vice President Sameer A. Salgaocar
in the presence of her father Pradip Kulkarni.

Also present are GSCA officials - Secretary
Suhas Asnodkar, Acting Secretary Augusto
Pinto and Treasurer Sachin Arolkar.

The meeting was attended by more than 75
life members of the GSCA.

Bhakti will also participate in the Girl Under 16
Section of the World Youth Chess Championships
in Antalya later this month along with World Under
8 Girls Chess Champion Ivana Furtado.
They will subsequently play in the Commonwealth
Championships in New Delhi where Bhakti will
defend her Under 18 Girls Gold Medal which she
won in great style last year.

Both the players will be having the benefit of their coach
Dronacharya Awardee Raghunandan Gokhale guiding
them personally in Turkey!
